ACA Stage Design Class Creates Parade Float

The Maryville-Alcoa Christmas Parade theme this year is Winter Wonderland. The ACA Stage Design Class has designed a float entitled Alice in Christmas Wonderland. This year’s float will feature Alice, the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, and many other Alice in Wonderland characters. The float will feature the Alice in wonderland theme as well as incorporating winter features. Many of the Stage Design students will be participating in the parade as characters.

The parade will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Midland Plaza area.

We look forward to representing First Apostolic Church in this year’s parade!

ACA is getting super excited, not to mention raising money like crazy, for our new campus which we plan to be in by Fall 2013! We wanted to post updated photos of the progress, as we are getting closer and closer to completion.

ACA Voted Best School in Blount County by Youth Leadership Blount

Youth Leadership Blount (YLB) is a program of Leadership Blount County. Educating Leaders - Encouraging Service.

In September 2012, Youth Leadership Blount toured schools across Blount County. Two of our students, Nolan Carpenter and Sarah Amburn gave an impressive tour and presentation of our facilities.

Apostolic Christian Academy was privileged to be voted the best school in Blount County by the Youth Leadership Blount students!

ACA Preschool is blessed with new play area!

ACA Preschool has been blessed by the FAC Mommy & Me, who contributed to our new play area and many new toys for our children. We have all new Little Tikes toys....basketball goal, balls, little coup cars, and trikes. We are in the process of having the play area painted with a road that the children can ride their cars on, tic-tac-toe, and a hop-scotch area. They also have an area to use sidewalk chalk......lots of room for them to run and play! We feel very blessed that we have this area and new toys that our children can enjoy.
